We’ve been there!

Twisted River has that in mind with everything we grow. From our salad greens, which are harvested at the perfect fit-on-a-fork size to our micro-greens which are super convenient to throw on a sandwich or on top of any dish when you’re in a hurry (not to mention being crazy nutritious). Everything is pre-washed and ready to eat right out of the container.

Because we’re practically farming in your backyard (in fact, we grow in ours!), you can feel good knowing that our greens don’t spend days upon days in transit. There’s nothing more frustrating than opening that container of spinach you bought on Tuesday and it’s already gone bad!

BEST OF ALL it’s easy to find our greens! We are in the produce cooler at a growing number of grocery stores, sell at farmers markets and you may even see our greens at your favorite restaurant all around North Iowa.There’s never a wild goose chase to find our local greens! What’s with the name Twisted River?

When the farm was started in 2014 it was located right on the banks of a twisty section of the Shell Rock River. We moved the farm to Mitchell, IA in 2018 and now are just a stones throw from the Cedar River…so it still works.
